Why is this useful?
Need to provide badges for your participants to print at home or pick up on-site? With the OnSite check-in app, you can generate badges with a custom background that reflects your visual identity. Using Evenium, your badges are created in full alignment with your branding.
How does it work?
Customize Your Badge Background
1. Go to the “On-site Welcome” tab > “Badge Configuration”
2. Click on “More options”, then select “Change the page layout”
3. Configure the layout to align with your design vision:
- For advanced customization, set certain sections as “Custom section”
- Make sure to keep at least one section as “Participant Info with QR Code” so the QR code is properly generated and scannable at the entrance.
4. Once your layout is set, upload your background image in the “Background Image” section.
Background image recommendations:
PNG format with transparent background, dimensions: 2480 x 3508 px, file size < than 1 MB
Ensure high contrast around the QR code area to guarantee readability
Avoid dark backgrounds in this area (your badges are meant to be printed)
Finally, click “Add” to apply your custom background.

You can also assign different backgrounds by participant category, by linking a specific image to each category created in your registration form.
