Why is this useful?
You can now set up and activate your event’s domain name and sender email address on your own—no need to contact our team.
Directly from your event settings, you have full control to customize the site access link and the sender email address used to send communications from your Evenium back office.
⚠️Important: This option is only available if you have subscribed to the annual domain name reservation or integration licence.
How does it work?
SETTING UP THE DOMAIN NAME
Go to the “Configuration” tab > “General Info”, then scroll to the “Website” section.
Click on “click to enter your website name” next to the Name field.
Enter the desired name for your website.
If you want the website to be accessible to everyone, check the box Public registration”. Anyone with the link will then be able to register.
Click “Save” to confirm.
Tip: Click the “Copy” button below to retrieve the generated URL.
Notes:
Special characters (à, è, é, ê, î, œ, ', _, &) as well as capital letters or spaces are not allowed. Only hyphens (“-”) are accepted.
If you don’t check “Public registration” the event will remain private and accessible only via personalized email invitation links.
The domain name ending (e.g., .evenium.info) can be personalized with your company‘s name. It is set when the module is first activated and cannot be changed later.
SETTING UP THE SENDER EMAIL ADDRESS
Once the domain name is configured, an associated sender email address is automatically generated. To use it in your emails:
Go to “Configuration” > “Edit Emails”
Select the email you want to modify from the dropdown list
Click on the “Sender Address” option
Choose the desired sender address
Click on “Save”
Notes:
It is possible to set up a sender email address that applies to all your events. If you’d like this option, please let us know when the module is activated.
If a shared address is available, you’ll be able to choose between the shared one and the event-specific address.
If you don’t choose an address, emails will be sent using the platform’s default sender address.
